Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and meet our company representative at the airport. Then transfer to your hotel by a private vehicle. Check in at the hotel and relax. Afterwards, proceed for sightseeing of this magical city where the ancient and the modern blend seamlessly. Visit Lotus Temple,Humanyunâ€™s Tomb and Qutab Minar. Later,enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, first proceed for a tour of Old Delhi-the seventeenth-century city ofÂ Shahjahanabad, built for the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.Visit Chandni Chowk market,Red Fort,Jama Masjid and Spice Market. In the afternoon,visit Jantar Mantar,Raj Ghat, Gandhi Smriti and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Also drive past Lutyenâ€™s Delhi which includes Parliament House, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur(280 kms) 5 hrs approx
After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur-the pink city. Reach Jaipur and check in at hotel. Enjoy a photo stop at Hawa Mahal-the place of winds and visit the Jantar Mantar-astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II,then City Palace and apartment which houses museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings. Â Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur-Agra(240 kms) 4 hrs approx
After breakfast,transfer to Agra-another historical and romantic city. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri-once the capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. Here visit Buland Darwaza,Diwan-i-Khas,Jodhabai Palace,Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti,Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal.Reach Agra and check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05:Agra Sightseeing
Early morning, visit Taj Mahal. the beautiful mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife,Mumatz. Also visit Agra Fort consisting of royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and beautiful gardens. Then return to hotel. Afterwards, visit Itmad ud Daula and Mehtab Bagh.Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Agra-Jhansi-Orchha-Khajuraho( kms) Â hrs approx by train
Early morning, proceed to railway station to catch your train to Jhansi.It is one of the most important venues of Indiaâ€™sÂ first war of independence in 1857 and the erstwhile capital of Rani Lakshmibaiâ€™s kingdom. Reach Jhansi and continue your drive to Orchha and then to Khajuarho. Khajuraho is a small town located in the Bundelkhand region (Chhatarpur District) ofÂ Madhya PradeshÂ and is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. These temples are aÂ UNESCO World Heritage SiteÂ known for their beautiful and erotic rock carvings. Reach Khajuraho and check in at hotel. Afterwards proceed for a light and sound show at Western Group of temples. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Khajuraho Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to visit the temples of Khajuarho. Â Kandariya Mahadev temple is the one of the most popular and massive structures of these temples. Khajuraho temples are more popular for erotic sculptured images but on your visit you will realize that such images are only 15% of all images. The other images are of Hindu gods, goddess, nymphs. Afterwards visit Eastern group of temples.Â Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Khajuraho â€“Delhi (by flight) and departure
After breakfast, transfer to Khajuraho airport to catch your flight to Delhi and from there, continue for your onward journey. Our company representative will assist you till the airport in a private vehicle.Â
