Day 1 :- Arrival at Cochin
Early morning,arrive at Cochin airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle. Check in at the hotel and proceed for city tour. Situated on the west coast of India, Cochin is a beautiful port city,. This has earned Cochin several titles like 'Queen of the Arabian Sea' andGateway to Kerala. You will visit Fort Kochi Beach, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary. Later in the day,take a boat cruise on Cochin Harbour and attend a cultural performance of traditional dance and martial arts. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 :- Cochin - Munnar(130 kms, 4 hrs approx)
In the morning,drive to Munnar, the heart of Kerala's tea growing region. Reach Munnar and check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 :- Munnar sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Munnar. Also visit Eravikulam National Park to explore a wide variety of flora and fauna. Later, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point which is famous for itsecho phenomenon.
Day 04 :- Munnar - Thekkady(92 kms, 3 hrs approx)
After breakfast, drive to Periyar.Proceed for a spice plantation tour, a forest walk or a boat cruise on the famous Periyar Lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 :- Thekkady- Kumarakom/ Alleppey (138 kms,3.5 hrs approx)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board a houseboat for an afternoon lunch cruise on the backwaters of Kerala. The backwaters are world famous and will be a highlight of your trip. Enjoy a delicious meal on the houseboat. Later disembark the boat at your accommodation.-resort or houseboat as per your needs.Overnight at hotel.
Day 06:- Alleppey Houseboat
Today after breakfast,proceed for full day sightseeing of Aleppey. You can do walking or cycling on pathways which line the banks of the rivers and canals.You also have the option of getting rowed, paddled in a country boat by a local fisherman.Overnight near Alleppey.
Day 07 :- Alleppey- Kovalam (160 kms, 4 hrs approx)
After breakfast, transfer to Kovalam and check in at hotel. Kovalam is characterized by its endless rows of coconut trees and is often called the "Paradise of the South". Spend the evening exploring the various beaches in Kovalam. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 :- Kovalam - Trivandrum (by flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Trivandrum airport to catch your flight for onward journey.
